This heritage continues with the launch of two new products, the ION SA503 and ION SA507, and an integrated software licensing module that lets you turn on features as needed. Whether you need basic console access or a sophisticated SSL VPN solution with cross-network NATing, the ION SA500 family of products offers the right form factor, functionality and price point for your unique application.

Applications

• Console and Terminal Server: Available in 3 or 7 port models, the ION SA500 family offers robust monitoring of serially connected devices, including cable disconnect, modem availability and legacy device monitoring.
• Out-of-Band (Modem & Wireless): V92 or GSM/GPRS modem options offers simple dial-up access or failover connectivity when the primary connection is down. Also allows the ability to leverage broadband wireless capability as a low cost POTS alternative. If security is a concern, ION™ products offer the most secure out-of-band solution on the market.
• Internet Service Delivery: The ION SA500 family offers a highly desirable alternative to traditional VPN solutions. The ION SA500 family offers unparalleled ease of use along with thesecurity features of a best-in-class VPN (including an industrial-strength secure channel, granular visibility and access controls). Unique features include: Services SSL VPN™ (an intelligent SSL pipe specifically designed for service delivery) and SnapNAT™ (a crossnetwork NATing capability that links NMS tools to managed systems).
• Field-Upgradable Features: Use the licensing module to add new features on an as needed basis; no hardware replacements required.
• Field-Upgradable Security: Easily upgrade security to support requirements, such as two-factor authentication, encryption and audit.
